Delete Your Account

We are sorry to see you go. Please read the information below carefully before requesting account deletion.

Important Warning

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers.

Active Subscriptions Note: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel any active paid subscriptions managed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or third-party payment providers. You must cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings before deleting your account to avoid future automated billings.

What Gets Deleted

  • Your profile information (name, email, photo, etc.)
  • Match history and statistics
  • Team memberships
  • All messages and conversations
  • Friend connections
  • Sports preferences and interests
  • All other data associated with your account

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: From the App

  1. Open MatchPly and go to Settings
  2. Scroll down to "Account" section
  3. Tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your identity by entering your password
  5. Confirm the deletion

Option 2: Via Email

  1. Send an email to support@matchply.com
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include the email address associated with your account
  4. We will verify your identity and process the request within 48 hours

Data Retention

After account deletion:

  • Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Some anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes
  • Legal obligations may require us to retain certain data for a limited period
